Theatrical-quality Victorian walking costumes, modeled after the late 19th-century "Second Bustle" era (circa 1883–1889). This period in fashion history was defined by an ultra-structured silhouette where overskirts were draped dramatically over a prominent, rigid horizontal bustle frame extending from the lower back.
The Cream and Black Gown: Constructed out of a fluid satin-back crepe fabric. It showcases a boned bodice with vertical contrasting black pleated stripes along the torso, black lace edging along the wide scoop neckline, and an overskirt pulled back into a heavily gathered, tiered bustle display. It is accessorized with a feathered white hat, a matching black beaded choker, formal mid-length black gloves, and a ruffled black lace parasol.
The Purple and Black Gown: Made of the same premium satin back crepe, this version features a solid plum-toned bodice contrasted by black lace overlays on the short cap sleeves and a tiered lace-trimmed apron overskirt. The ensemble is styled with an asymmetrical floral and mesh fascinator hat and matching mid-length black gloves.
